Room 5 visit to the Community Gardens.
We visited the community gardens behind St Columba church hall and met the lovely Fiona HIll. She showed us around the garden and now we are in the April edition of the Weekend Gardener!
Hi Room 5, What an exciting adventure you had visiting the community gardens and tasting micro greens. And you even ended up in a magazine! I'm sure Room 4 will have some questions for you when I share this with them. Nikki
Talofa Room 5, Well done for checking out what our community has to offer. I've heard about the garden you went to but have yet to see it. I think I would like to taste those micro greens! As for the spinach growing, my mum is very good at growing them in our garden. The next class that goes to visit should check the progress of the spinach. Good sharing and nice work on getting a slot in the Weekend Gardener!

Kia ora Room 5,
ReplyDeleteLucky you to meet with a local gardener and writer. I can't wait to find out what your ideas are for our school garden.
