Puriri Won The Flag!

At assembly last week Mr Barker chose Puriri to have their flag up the flagpole because we took responsibility for keeping our school tidy by picking up and sorting rubbish.

The flag monitors raising the flag while we sing our well done song.

There wasn't enough wind so we decided to try blowing the flag.

Statistics With Room 4

Taking Responsibility For Our School

All of the classes in Puriri Team went on a mission last week to tidy up the area around the Surrey Crescent fence.  Room 3 and Room 5 worked on the road side of the fence, while Room 4 and Room 6 tidied up the school side of the fence.  We picked up lots of rubbish and sorted it into the correct rubbish bins.

Superhero Drawing Competition

We had a competition to draw a superhero for our new Puriri certificates.  Once we had drawn our superheroes our teacher displayed them in our classrooms.  Each class got to visit the other classroom's displays and we each got to vote by putting a sticker on our favorite superhero.
